Lay Servant Training

Please note that in order to properly facilitate online trainings, the number of “seats” is limited to 12. Also, registration will close a week prior to the class date. Anyone 13 years of age or older may take basic or advanced lay servant training courses.
Online Courses: After paying for the class and registering, you should receive a confirmation email which includes the materials needed for the class and a ZOOM link. If you have not received the email, please call 505-255-8786 or email rjohnston@nmconfum.com.

August 27 & 28th – In-Person – Advanced with John Milholland at Bethel UMC-Moriarty – Opening Ourselves to Grace: The Means of Grace and Discipleship. This Bible study explores the practices of Christian faith and life from a Wesleyan tradition. Wesley would teach the church today, just as he taught Methodist societies in eighteenth century England, that organizing around small groups for Christian formation goes a long way to assure that the power of grace will flow through the church into the world.
